Repairs and Set-Ups
Don’t know how to maintain your guitar or electric bass, or just don’t have the time? I will bring it back to as close to brand new playing condition as you can get! Past clients include Stephen Stills and Jerry Garcia, to name a couple.
Guitar and Bass Clean-Up include the following:
- Clean and refurbish fingerboard
- Polish frets to a mirror-like shine (fret milling is also available)
- Adjust/tighten all nuts and screws (tuners, pickguard, control plate,
etc.) - Set ideal neck curvature, adjust truss rod and shim if needed
- Install new strings of your specification
- Inspect saddles (notched to the correct depth and width); refine if
needed - Set saddle height and action to match your unique playing style
- Set string length (intonation) for perfect harmonic balance and tuning
- Polish metal hardware (chrome, gold, black, etc.) to bring back original
luster

I have strings in stock if you don’t have time to pick up a fresh set.
